A bit of feedback on format, now that these (excellent) Friday interviews are becoming a pattern.
I initially didn't like it at all when Reason split their podcasts into separate feeds for round tables and interviews. But since then I completely changed my mind. The interviews have a longer shelf life; they're often worth listening to days or weeks later, whereas the round tables are more time bound. It's actually really handy to have them show up as separate podcasts with different archives.
If the Dispatch interviews are going to be an ongoing thing (here's hoping, based on the high quality so far), I'd be all for branding those as a different podcast, for the same reason.
I think my advice to a young person of any profession but especially reporters would be to not put much stock into Twitter. Blizzards in a snow globe are not news.
